About US

Dedicated to developing confident skiers, strong athletes, and lifelong friendships through quality ski racing programs since 1956.

Our Mission

At Labrador Mountain Ski Club, racing is important, but our primary focus is developing strong fundamental skiing skills. We believe great racers are first and foremost great skiers.

For younger athletes, our program emphasizes exploring the mountain, building confidence, having fun, and developing sound technique both on and off the racecourse. Time spent free skiing and learning mountain skills lays the foundation for future success in gates.

As athletes progress, competition becomes a greater focus, supported by the technical skills and passion for skiing they've developed along the way.

Our goal is to develop better skiers, stronger racers, and young people who will enjoy the sport of skiing for a lifetime.

Club Leadership

Head Coach - Court Wilson

Court started skiing at Labrador at the age of 2 and was a member of the junior race program. He explains, "I could write a novel about my amazing experience as a racer at Labrador Mountain. The long-standing friendships (some of which you can see in the Yurt), the challenges of a hard sport and the lifelong love of skiing are definitely chapters in that novel.  I am incredibly passionate about this mountain, the program and the youngsters that truly love it and make it apart of their being."

Program Director - Christine Cameron

Christine became Program Director of LMSC in 2025. She began skiing in 2019 when her four‑year‑old son took his first lesson and quickly fell in love with the sport. She is passionate about welcoming new families into the program—whether they are seasoned skiers or brand‑new to the sport—and enjoys helping them find roles that support both race operations and off‑mountain social activities.
